The simplicity of this blog is very appealing. It makes all of her art work stand out and makes them the focus of her blog. Many of the blogs that I came across were very cluttered and had too many distractions that took away from their work. However, Karen's is very clean and draws your eye right to her work. Her style of painting is very vibrant and eloquent. And the soft strokes create a whimsical affect to her realistic paintings. I like how the places that she depicts are not completely perfect which adds a lot of character to her style.
